It is tho.. =)
Virtualisation means that you can run an OS inside an OS. So this can mean i can run Mac Os inside windows, or Windows inside linux or whichever how I want it.
If you use virtualisation, you can use full function of other "OS" in the Host computer.
This one shows I run PcLinuxOs inside my windows. Its independent system OS i run without have to restart and dual-boot my computer.
